24th Street Passive House Project
Tim Eian of Intep will guide the audience through his studio’s latest project, the 24th Street Passive House homes in La Crosse, Wisconsin. This urban infill project demonstrates the Passive House concept and marks the beginning of new path to high-performance projects for its developer, Western Wisconsin Technical College. Both the design and construction phases serve as a laboratory for Western’s education program. The built homes provide La Crosse with its first Passive Houses and support Western’s mission to provide cutting edge education and meaningful community outreach.
The presentation will be preceded by a short slide show outlining recent and current Passive House projects throughout the country.
